Legal

Privacy policy.

This policy explains what Tiffany Sharp, LMT collects, why, and how you can control it — across this website, the booking system, and the iOS and Android apps. Effective July 27, 2026.

Who we are

Tiffany Sharp, LMT is a licensed massage therapist (Texas LMT #144898) practicing in Abilene, Texas. This policy covers everywhere you interact with the practice online: this website, the booking system, and the Tiffany Sharp, LMT apps for iOS and Android. By using any of these, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Account information
Your name, email address, and — if you choose to share it — phone number, used to create and manage your account.
Appointment details
The service you book, its date and time, and the address where you'll receive your session.
Health intake
Conditions, medications, and areas of concern you share in your intake form — collected only so Tiffany can plan a safe, effective session for you.
Payment information
Your card details are entered directly with, and processed by, Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. We do keep records of the payments themselves: amounts, dates, and receipts.
SMS consent records
If you opt in to text messages, we keep a record of that consent — the exact language you agreed to, and when.
Correspondence
Emails, texts, or other messages you send us, so we can respond and keep an accurate record.

What we don’t do

We don’t run advertising, and we don’t put analytics or tracking SDKs in our apps or on this website. We don’t sell or share your personal information for anyone’s marketing, ours or a third party’s, and we don’t work with data brokers. Not now, not ever.

Service providers

A few trusted companies process data on our behalf, each receiving only what it needs to do its one job — never for their own marketing:

Supabase
Hosts our database and handles account authentication.
Stripe
Processes payments and securely stores your card details.
Amazon Web Services
SES and End User Messaging deliver our confirmation emails and appointment text messages.
Google Maps Platform
Verifies the address where you'll receive your appointment.
Vercel
Hosts this website.

Health information

Your intake responses are used solely by your therapist to plan a safe, effective session. Health information is not disclosed except to the service providers listed above, acting on the practice’s behalf, or when required by law — it is never sold, and never used for advertising. It’s retained as part of our practice records, consistent with Texas massage-therapy recordkeeping requirements.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and profile information for as long as your account is active. Health intake, appointment, and payment records are kept longer — for as long as Texas massage-therapy recordkeeping and tax law require — even after your account is deleted. See “Deletion & your choices” below for what you control and what we’re required to retain regardless.

Deletion & your choices

Account deletion
Delete your account yourself, anytime: in the app, go to Profile → Delete account; on the website, visit your Account page. This removes your login and profile.
Correction, access & export
Email info@tiffanysharplmt.com to correct anything on file, ask what we hold, or request a copy of it — we’ll respond to you directly.
What we keep regardless
Health intake, appointment, and payment records are retained for as long as Texas massage-therapy recordkeeping and tax law require. Deleting your account does not delete these — see “Accessing your records” below.
Text & email preferences
Reply STOP to any text message at any time. For email, use the preference link included in our messages.

Accessing your records

To request a copy of your health care records, ask what we hold, or request a correction, email info@tiffanysharplmt.com with your name and what you’re requesting. Tiffany will respond to you directly, within a reasonable time.

Texas law requires practitioners to post the following notice, verbatim:

Texas law provides certain rights regarding privacy of and access to health care records (Texas Health & Safety Code, Chapter 181, Medical Records Privacy). To file a consumer complaint alleging a violation of your privacy rights regarding protected health information, contact the Texas Office of the Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division.

Report suspected violations of statutes or rules enforced by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation by contacting the Department or calling (800) 803-9202.

Required notice per TDLR — Patient Access to Medical Records.

Children

Our services and accounts are for adults. You must be 18 or older to book an appointment or create an account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the practice or these services change; we’ll update the effective date above when we do. Questions about this policy or your information are always welcome at info@tiffanysharplmt.com.
